Director of School Partnerships

We are looking for a Director of School Partnerships who will build, support, and strengthen Rang’s school partnerships. You will be the linchpin that ties our groundbreaking platform to the educational institutions that stand to benefit from it. If you have an educator’s heart, enthusiasm for working with customer accounts, and the strategic mindset of a sales lead, we’re looking for you.
In order to be successful, this person will:
- Manage existing and upcoming Rang partnerships with empathy and reliability. This includes collecting feedback, anticipating and solving user challenges, summarizing program results, and more.
- Work with the CEO to proactively identify, secure, and nurture partnerships with K12 schools.
- Launch new partnerships and meet activation and retention KPIs.
- Proactively investigate and solve pain points for Rang’s stakeholders: students, teachers, administrators, and sponsors.
- Collaborate with the Rang technical team to optimize and adapt our program and product.
- Take initiative and help with the miscellaneous operational work required to run a startup.
Competencies and Qualifications
We believe the right person for the Director of School Partnerships role will have the following competencies and qualifications:
- Empathetic, genuine, trustworthy and enthusiastic in their approach to sourcing and managing school relationships.
- Extremely organized and capable of managing several partnerships at once.
- Data driven. Fluent and comfortable with analyzing data to drive decision making.
- Strong communicator who works closely with students and teachers to ensure constant feedback loops and regular program iteration.
- Strong operational and analytical skillset used to ensure regular reporting to schools and feedback to product roadmap.
- Demonstrated experience and willingness to drive complex cross-functional projects.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work within the organizational dynamics of a fast-growing company.
- Proven ability to positively relate to and influence decision-makers within educational institutions.
- 4+ years of work experience in a relevant industry (e.g., startups, teaching, edtech, etc.). Previous experience in/around early-stage startups is strongly preferred.
